'Spring into Summer'

Ocho are absolutely delighted to welcome our great friends from Krefeld, Germany for three concerts in the East Midlands at the end of May '25.

Silk-O-phonics and their Musical Director Antje Wald will be joining Ocho in a feast of 'a cappella' singing at Rolleston-on-Dove, Leicester and Crick, Northants.

​

The project has been supported by Leicester's Twinning Committee and Leicester City Council and promises to be a unique collaboration. The concert will be shared, with Ocho singing some of their favourites and Silk-O-phonics singing their mix of pop and jazz favourites. In the second half of the concert, the two ensembles will join together and perform a number of songs to finish the concert. Music will include songs by Billy Joel, Queen, folk songs, and even a few 'songs from the shows'. It's a well worn saying but there will truly be 'something for everyone's taste'!
